In your glass, the 2023 Reserva Tinto’s dark ruby color leans immediately into aromas of ripe blackberries and plums, with backup harmony of savory herbs, dusted cocoa, and sweet brown baking spices. It’s on the fuller end of medium-bodied, finishing with dark fruit, hints of chocolate, and a whisper of vanilla. A nice balance of softly present ripe tannins and enough lift keeps everything in check, through the long, silky finish.
At the table, this style of Portuguese red is a natural fit for all your favorite hearty, flavorful fare. Traditional pairings include grilled pork or lamb, chouriço, feijoada (Portuguese bean stew), and aged, firm cheeses like queijo curado.
